At the HCT, students are prepared for a globalized workplace and given opportunities to become conversant with international best practices in their professions and to understand other cultures.  This is to ensure that young Emiratis can operate effectively in today’s global business environment and therefore make a significant impact on the sustainable economic and social development of the nation. In order to achieve this HCT organizes major international conferences such as the Education Without Borders and Festival of Thinkers.

The Colleges also organize and host a number of international conferences and forums across a variety of fields, which are relevant to the six core program areas. HCT also sends students to different countries for work experience, language training and cultural visits.
