تكنولوجيا الهندسة

يهدف قسم تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم إلى توفير خريجين متميزين في مجال  تكنولوجيا الهندسة التطبيقية. ويُكسب برنامج تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم الطلبة القدرة على القيادة بنجاح، والعمل بكفاءة، والتواصل بفاعلية مع فريق العمل. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يكتسب الطلبة أثناء الدراسة القٍيَم الأخلاقية والسلوك المهني الراقي، بما يساعدهم على توسيع معارفهم وكفاءاتهم من خلال التعليم المستمر مدى الحياة ليصبحوا أفراداً مساهمين في خدمة المجتمع عن طريق تسخير مهاراتهم ومعارفهم محلياً وعالمياً.

ويوفر قسم تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم برامج هندسية عالمية المستوى، والتي تعمل على تمكين الخريجين من تنمية شغف التعلم والاكتشاف والابتكار لديهم، بالإضافة إلى توفير التقنيين والمهندسين المؤهلين والقادرين على تلبية الاحتياجات الحاضرة والمستقبلية لقطاعات العمل على الصعيدين المحلي والعالمي. وتتمتع جميع برامج تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم في كليات التقنية العليا بسمعة ممتازة نظراً لتميزها بالنزاهة الأكاديمية. وتوفر غالبية برامج البكالوريوس في تكنولوجيا الهندسة خيارات التخرج للطالب مع منحه مؤهل الدبلوم.

خلال العام الدراسي 2018-2019 ، ركز قسم تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم على المساهمة في تنفيذ استراتيجية الجيل الثاني لكليات التقنية العليا HCT 2.0الرامية إلى تأهيل الخريجين ليكونوا الخيار الأول لجهات العمل المختلفة بالدولة، وذلك من خلال تطبيق متطور لمنظومة التعليم الهجين. إلى ذلك، تم إعداد الخطط الهجينة لجميع المساقات الدراسية في برنامج تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم، حيث اشتملت كلّ من خطط المساقات الدراسية على مشاركة الطلبة في 5 مختبرات أو تدريبات عملية تطبيقية على الأقل، بما في ذلك مساقات العلوم الأساسية في الرياضيات والفيزياء والكيمياء. وتم تصميم المساقات الدراسية لاستخدام فضاءات الابتكار وربطها بالشهادات والمؤهلات الاحترافية المطلوبة في سوق العمل  .

بعد إطلاق خطة الجيل الرابع HCT 4.0في مطلع العام 2019، شرع قسم تكنولوجيا الهندسة والعلوم في إجراء التعديلات اللازمة للمحصلات التعليمية لبرامج الهندسة، بحيث تهدف المحصلات التعليمية لجميع برامج الهندسة حالياً إلى تحقيق الهدفين الرئيسيين لخطة الجيل الرابع HCT 4.0، والمتمثلة في تخريج قادة فنيين وتخريج الشركات ورواد الأعمال. وحصل القسم على الموافقة اللازمة من اللجان الأكاديمية المختصة و هيئات الاعتماد الأكاديمي للهندسة والتكنولوجيا المحلية والعالمية ABET\ETAC , CAA)) على المحصلات التعليمية الجديدة و سيتم نشر المحصلات التعليمية الجديدة في الدليل السنوي لكليات التقنية العليا للعام الدراسي 2019-2020.

كليات التقنية العليا هي مؤسسة حكومية، و الدراسة فيها مجانية للطلبة الإماراتيين وأبناء المواطنات لدرجة علمية واحدة

يتوفر عدد محدد من المقاعد الدراسية للطلبة المقيمين في الامارات العربية المتحدة للالتحاق بكليات التقنية العليا مع مراعاة الشروط التالية:

  • معدل الثانوية العامة 85% كحد أدنى.
  • الحصول على  1250 كحد أدنى في امسات – اللغة الإنجليزية  أو ما يعادلها.
  • ان يتحمل الطالب التكاليف الدراسية.

  • 20% في حال حصول الطالب على معدل تراكمي ما بين 3.00 و 3.74
  • 40% في حال حصول الطالب على معدل تراكمي 3.75 فما فوق
  • 20% لأبناء الهيئة التدريسية بكليات التقنية العليا
  • 20% للطلبة الإماراتيين في حالة رغبتهم الحصول على درجة علمية إضافية
