HCT-Al Ain Women's College HR Business students attended the opening of the recent HR Summit and Expo held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Summit is the most influential event for the Middle East's Human Resources community bringing the latest innovations, strategies, insights and international best practices by the most influential and respected Human Resources leaders and practitioners from around the globe.

Students attended multiple seminars throughout the day including topics such as:

• Overview of UAE Labor Law and Employee Relations: A Practitioner’s Perspective
• Developing Your career Strategy: How to Find a career that Fits For You
• Does Social Media Matter to the HR manager?
• How to Write an HR Policy that Supports Your Organization’s Culture

Eight of the student were selected for their essays, “The HR of the Future,” and received complimentary passes to hear Tom Peters’ presentation - Excellence: Continuing The Search - Talent Time! Tom is co-author of In Search of Excellence – the book that changed the way the world does business, and often tagged as the best business book ever.
