The Master of Information Technology degree is a profession-oriented graduate program, designed to provide specialized information technology expertise, project management and information security competencies, and leadership skills. These skills are in high demand in the business, government, and industrial sectors of the rapidly developing UAE economy. Graduates of the HCT Master of IT Program will be key IT leaders and decision makers within the public and private sectors of the UAE.

The degree program consists of 12 courses worth 36 credit points. Each 3-credit course is equivalent to 39 hours of instruction plus 9 hours of independent assignments. All students take 6 core courses, plus a dissertation which is equivalent to 2 courses. For the remaining 4 courses, students can select one of three possible concentrations.
