The Masters of IT program offers students the opportunity to deepen and extend their knowledge in a domain of their choice by selecting a concentration, each consisting of 4 modules. The program currently offers 3 concentrations.
The IT Management concentration equips students to anticipate, manage and implement business and technological solutions that are critical to future business success. IT Management graduates will be able to deal effectively with the variety and complexity of issues involved in applying IT successfully within organizations. Courses in this concentration include: Technology and Innovation Management; Enterprise Architecture and Design; Entrepreneurship in IT; and Information Technology Investment Financial Analysis.
The Project Management concentration equips students to successfully plan, develop and deliver IT projects – on time, on budget and on quality. Project Management graduates will play a central role in their organizations’ capacity to devise, schedule, implement, manage and deliver key initiatives. Courses in this concentration include: Enterprise Project Management; Information Technology Investment Financial Analysis; Software Quality Assurance and Control; and Change Management in IT.
The Security Management concentration equips students to implement enterprise security policies, identify security threats, develop counter-measures and manage security solution deployment. Security Management graduates will manage changes in the technical and business environment, and apply the latest tools, techniques, and methods of securing an enterprise. Courses in this concentration include: Enterprise Information Security Architecture; Security Service Management; Security Audits, Assessments, and Penetration Tests; and Computer Forensics, Investigation, and Response.
